Description
Discovering a photographic solution that reveals human souls arising from the dying, Tom, an uneducated veteran raised in the backstreets of London, is thrust into the environs of Britain’s wealthiest elites. Marcia, the wise, aged patroness of two preeminent scientists of England, Thaddeus, and Euphorus, adopts Tom as they travel the globe, taking photos of dying souls and seeking their final destination. Their journey proves hazardous, but Tom’s greatest challenge is adopting to the strict, complex manners of proper British society. Obstacles constantly threaten their quest and lives as they seek distant lands where they can photograph more unfortunates succumbing to mortality and triangulate the route of the ghostly mists. Will revelation of their discovery resolve the world’s disputes or destroy all religions and civilizations? The fate of Earth’s future depends of the struggles of four companions as they face the most-unexpected steampunk doom.
